Parking Services will consider parking accommodation requests from STUDENTS for parking authorization due to extenuating circumstances, which may include family, work, or medical-related issues. If approved for a regular student permit the fee will be determined by the permit type; all other approvals are a fee of $222/semester. If not approved, persons will be directed to use existing parking and transportation options. The student parking and driving regulations document can be reviewed for details of campus requirements and eligibility.
The parking accommodation request form linked below must be completed in its entirety. If requesting accommodations due to work, a currently dated letter from your employer/department on letterhead must be included. Please answer all questions clearly and completely. Letters or phone calls requesting parking accommodations will not be considered.
It generally takes 7-10 business days to process a request (processing time may vary depending on the time of year, i.e., the beginning of each semester). Once reviewed, the decision about your application will be sent to the email address used for submission.
Applications submitted in the summer for the coming fall semester/year, will not begin to be reviewed until August 1st. Applications for spring semester should be submitted in the first week of December. If living on campus, do not submit your application until your housing assignment is finalized. Submitted requests do NOT guarantee parking approval.
No temporary permits will be issued during the application process. You must park in areas that are legal with your current permit or wait to bring the vehicle to campus.
