Departments wishing to provide parking for their guests can pre-request guest hangtag permits from Parking Services by completing the form linked below. These permits are eligible for parking in non-gated employee areas. Current guest permits being sold are valid for use through December 31, 2024. There are three types of guest permits:
Hangtag permits should be displayed from the rearview mirror; if a permit will not hang for any reason, it should be placed on the driver's side of the dash. The hangtag permit must be completely and correctly filled out and fully visible from outside the vehicle to have parking privileges.
To allow time for processing, permits will be available for pickup at the Visitor Center on Trowbridge Road starting two (2) business days after form submission. The Visitor Center is open 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday excluding university holidays. Please have MSU ID when picking up permits.
