Friday Home Football Game Effects Office Hours: In-person services at the Parking Office and Visitor Center will close at 12pm on Friday, 11/22/24 due to the home football game. Phones will still be answered until 4pm and online services will remain available 24/7.

Friday Home Football Game Effects Parking Availability: The following lots will close at 5pm on Thursday, 11/21/24 and remain closed through 2pm on Friday, 11/22/24, at which point the appropriate event parking pass will be required:

  • Lot 61
  • Lot 62
  • Lot 79
  • Lot 124

The remainder of campus lots will be available per normal posted requirements and restrictions until 1pm on Friday, 11/22/24. At that time event staff will begin restricting entry into all football designated lots. Football pass lots will allow entry at 2pm and general public pay lots will allow entry at 3pm. Current parking rates and ticket prices are approved by the Board of Trustees and support parking and safety services. The Parking Office provides parking services to students, staff and visitors of Michigan State University. Parking Services is a self-supporting auxiliary that is not funded by state taxes or student tuition. Parking operations, maintenance and development expenses are funded by revenue generated from the sale of parking services. All fees collected from paid violations fund safety systems on campus such as the Emergency Green Light Phones.
