Retirees

Retiree Virtual Permits (no charge) – available to order or renew starting 6/1/26. The permit is valid 7/1/26 through 6/30/27. 

This permit can be ordered online by logging into the permit portal with your MSU NetID and password.

Permit Portal

  • Permit is virtual, a physical sticker/decal will NOT be received.

  • Permit is valid for one year and must be renewed annually in July.

  • Only one vehicle can be registered to the permit at a time. The vehicle information may be updated as often as needed.

    • Vehicles can be added/removed from your permit by calling Parking Services at 517-355-8440.

  • The permit grants parking in regular employee spaces.

  • The permit is not valid during special events.

  • Accessible parking spaces require an eligible MSU permit or payment in addition to a valid disability license plate and/or placard. Lot requirements are noted on entry signage.
